Mission
To promote and advocate for “green” design, construction, and development practices in the City of Lowell, through research, identification, and implementation of policies, programs, and education that will increase the sustainability and reduce the environmental impacts of building activity.

- Gov. Patrick signed an energy bill July 2, 2008 putting the State on a greener path. - Another option to combat rising electricity prices, and make a grand green statement, is to produce your own energy. One way to achieve this is to utilize Solar Power, thermal and photovoltaic (generates electricity). - Incentives abound for projects that both improve energy efficiency and implement renewable sources of energy.
